Background

SKRYU is a prominent Japanese rapper who has rapidly ascended from the competitive MC battle scene to becoming a major-label artist under Warner Music Japan. Known for his distinct flow, clever wordplay, and a charismatic stage presence that blends high-energy hip-hop with melodic sensibilities, he made history as the first hip-hop artist to headline a solo show at Makuhari Messe’s International Exhibition Hall. His music often explores themes of personal ambition and the hustle of the modern artist, exemplified by his major debut EP Zetsu (絶).

The SKRYU 絶 (Zepp) Tour 2026 is his first nationwide headlining tour of the prestigious Zepp venues, marking his official “major era” milestone. The tour features unique, rotating setlists—the “Ito set” (いとset) and the “Iro set” (いろset)—designed to showcase different facets of his discography. The Osaka stop at Zepp Osaka Bayside is a massive two-day event on March 26 and 27, 2026, where fans can experience both distinct performances. These shows are a celebration of his journey from the underground to the “Zepp level,” proving his status as one of the most influential voices in contemporary Japanese rap.
