It takes about 7 minutes by ropeway from the foot of the mountain. Head to the summit of Mt. Katsuragi in a vast park with a cafe and an observation deck in the nature of the four seasons. Visit the “Ao Terrace” for a superb view. Purchase the Private Booth Package that allows you to relax in the private room space with a great view at Katsuragi Saryo “Private Gazebo” and enjoy a luxurious time. During busy times, there may be a wait to board the ropeway. Please allow plenty of time when planning your visit. The cable car takes you straight to the summit at an altitude of 452 meters. Walk in the air for a total length of about 1,800 meters while overlooking the beautiful scenery! Ao Terrace at the top of the mountain is surrounded by rich nature, and various flowers bloom in spring, summer, autumn and winter. There are plenty of observatories, monuments, athletic equipment on the promenade! Refresh yourself with forest bathing while enjoying a walk.
