How to work
ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) is a neurodevelopmental condition related to how the brain manages executive functions, focus, and impulse control:
- Dopamine & Norepinephrine:
The brain has lower levels or altered regulation of key neurotransmitters responsible for motivation, focus, and reward signaling.
- Executive Functioning:
It impacts the brain’s “command center,” making task initiation, working memory, organization, and time management more challenging.
- Inattention vs. Hyperactivity:
Symptoms can lean toward inattention (distractibility, misplacing items), hyperactivity/impulsivity (restlessness, speaking before thinking), or a combination of both.
